What are the Sim Codes All Networks in Pakistan?
There are six major mobile network operators in Pakistan namely Jazz Zong Ufone Telenor Warid and SCOM. Each of them has a different sim code as shown in the table below:
Note that X can be any digit from 0 to 9 depending on the number. For example 0300 0301 0302 etc. are all Jazz numbers while 0311 0312 0313 etc. are all Zong numbers.
How to Switch Between Networks?
If you are not satisfied with your current network and want to switch to another one you have two options:
Change your sim card: You can buy a new sim card from the network of your choice and insert it in your phone. You will get a new number and a new sim code. However you will lose your old number and contacts and you may have to pay extra charges for the new sim card.
Use MNP service: You can use the Mobile Number Portability (MNP) service which allows you to keep your existing number while changing your network. You will have to send an SMS to 667 and follow the instructions to complete the process. You will get a new sim code but your number will remain the same. However you will have to pay a fee of Rs. 150 for the MNP service and you will have to wait for a few days for the activation.
